Issue: Too many colors; may also be difficult for those with color vision deficiency to understand.
Improvement: The only colors are now on the headings; sky blue for months and soft red for everything else. These will be very distinct, even in black and white.

Issue: Way too crowded. Impossible to scan it quickly for information.
Improvement: Reorganized information to make it easier to find information; also to maximize space on the paper. This new organization makes it possible to write notes on the paper, e.g. "September 30th - soccer game!!"

Issue: Duplication of effort: abbreviations in various font sizes all over calendar, but they're also explained right underneath the month.
Improvement: Moved information off calendar and below the months. Gave those named days a bolded outline so they are quickly identifiable.

Issue: People might be upset with their holidays not on the calendar, or seeing "Columbus Day" instead of "Indigenous Peoples Day."
Improvement: Removed all names of holidays. The school year calendar doesn't need to act as a general calendar, because the only things it should mention are those related to the school. Instead of possibly upsetting people because the school celebrates Christmas but not Hanukkah, holidays are just marked as H, which only tells us the calendar days students have off.

Issue: The key doesn't tell us what CCR is.
Improvement: Add definition of CCR to the key.
